Edward "Ed" C. Logan came to Tempe, Arizona from New York City in 1958 to attend Arizona State University (ASU), graduating in 1962. He entered the US Air Force from ASU’s AFROTC, retiring in 1982 as a Lt. Colonel. He went on to serve as an executive in government agencies at the Federal, State, and County level in California and Arizona. He serves the Arizona veterans community as President of the Frank Luke Chapter of the Air Force Association, past Chairman of the Tempe Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee (MAC), past Vice Chair of the Glendale Chamber of Commerce MAC, and past Chairman of the ASU Alumni Association’s Veterans’ Chapter. He also serves as a member of the VFW, the Association of Former Intelligence Officers (AFIO), and the Unified Arizona Veterans (UAV). As a result of his volunteering for veterans, Ed was inducted into the Arizona Veterans Hall of Fame, Class of 2020. He continues to serve the Arizona veterans’ community as a Commissioner for the Arizona Department of Veteran’s Services.
