Role at ADVS: Admissions Coordinator at Arizona State Veteran Home-Tucson

When did you start at ADVS: July 25, 2022

Did you serve in the military: No

Did anyone in your family serve: Yes, my husband served in the Air Force.

What do you do at ADVS: I work with families, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and other medical health facilities to help inform, assist and coordinate applicants for our facility.

Why did you decide to join ADVS: I felt this would be a great way to help our Veterans find a great home.

Why is your job important to helping Arizona Veterans: It's stressful for families to try to get the right care for their loved one and don't know where to start and hospitals need to know in a timely manner if their patient has a safe place to go so I help provide some guidance.

What do you enjoy about working at ADVS: I meet a lot of people and it feels good to be able to offer so much guidance and assistance and work with a variety of people.

Outside of ADVS, what do you enjoy doing: I enjoy cooking, camping, swimming, traveling, and just being with my family.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be: I would like to be able to split myself into 4 people!
