AZ Gold Star Military Medal

Since Arizona's statehood, more than 3,000 of her honorable sons and daughters in uniform have given their lives in defense of this nation. Beginning on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30, 2016, their sacrifices are being especially recognized by the Arizona Gold Star Military Medal, an award created by the Arizona State Legislature.
