Role at ADVS: Veteran Benefits Counselor
When did you start at ADVS: July 11, 2022
Did you serve in the military: Yes, I served in the Air Force for 22 years as a Security Forces Technical Sergeant.
Did anyone in your family serve: Yes, my father, brother, grandfather and even my great-grandfather served in WWI.
What do you do at ADVS: I assist Veterans and their families in navigating the VA process, while simultaneously trying to reduce the stress and bureaucracy from the experience to make the experience as human as possible.
Why did you decide to join ADVS: I had a long-time, overwhelming desire to work with Veterans and help those like I was helped.
Why is your job important to helping Arizona Veterans: Everything about helping all of my Veteran family is important to me.
What do you enjoy about working at ADVS: I enjoy changing lives, the Veterans I meet and my team.
Outside of ADVS, what do you enjoy doing: Camping, kayaking, paddle boarding, gardening and writing.
If you had any kind of superpower, what would it be: Regeneration
