Role at ADVS: HR Compliance Analyst
When did you start at ADVS: December 19, 2023
Did you serve in the military: Yes, I was a SPC 75H-Personnel Actions Specialist in the U.S. Army for 5.5 years.
Did anyone in your family serve: My husband retired as an Army logistics officer and my father was drafted into the Army and served in Vietnam.
What do you do at ADVS: I support the HR Department with operational responsibilities such as tracking and reporting data, managing fingerprint compliance, and website development & maintenance.
Why did you decide to join ADVS: I enjoy working among Veterans and in support of Veterans.
Why is your job important to helping Arizona Veterans: My job is important in that I help the Veteran homes and cemeteries stay compliant with HR state laws, while they take care of our Veterans.
What do you enjoy about working at ADVS: I have found ADVS to be a very warm and welcoming agency. My first day of work was the day of the Christmas party and there was so much participation and people genuinely enjoyed being around each other, which is important to me.
Outside of ADVS, what do you enjoy doing: My hobbies are traveling and photography while traveling. I also find the prohibition era very intriguing and often try to fins speakeasies - locally and while traveling.
If you had any kind of superpower, what would it be: Self-cloning - so I can be everywhere and do all of the things I want to do.
